Not only does it encompass Staff Sgt Donald Schuman's treacherous encounters with the Nazi's, but it follows Mr. Schuman throughout his great life. Couldn't wait to read it Ever since I ordered your book, I've been checking the front porch for it to come. At last, there was the box. I couldn't wait to get it open and got my cup of coffee and sat and read the whole book! I really enjoyed the title which fits the book along with the pictures, poems and details. Very emotional moments I read your book the other day while getting tires for my wife's car. I'm sitting in Tire Kingdom's waiting room and trying my best to fight back the tears! This book is a fast read about a poor young farmer boy who grew up to be an American Hero, withstanding many trials along the way...also an insight into what our WWII Veterans went through.
